Rough as Hockey

Well, over at Twisted Sketches we had to do a "rough" page, and I thot to myself... it doesn't get any rougher than Hockey! So here you go..... my sketch with a rough edge :-) my scanner is a tad short so the bottom hockey sticks got cut off...:-(

Kickin in LaCrosse

Here is a combo for 2 challenges, Sketchy thursday with the above sketch, I hardly deviated from this one at all?? unlike me lol and then the "recipe" to use buttons, punched borders and at least 2 patterned papers is from The Pink Elephant
so that's my take :-)

Haha pay attention

This is the REAL page! Haha I guess I should promise to pay attention. After I had posted this page on a blog for a challenge... I realized it was supposed to be all done in Aqua, black and white... it was to late to get the page back, so I quickly ran to photo shop and tried to change the colors as best I could... anyway, this is the page in all it's glorious original colors!! I will read before posting next time!

Stampede

Well, the Calgary Stampede has come and gone, the Cowboy hats are all safely nestled away. Now it's time to scrapbook the fun! The ads this year that ran for the Stampede were ingenious, there was a silent cowboy that went around town making you say "I Promise to" something Cowboy-ish :-) I made a new word! Anyway, I took the ad campaign and had some fun with my pages. But alas when you are doing a whole book, you run out of ideas sometimes... so I went to my trusty challenge blogs for some inspiration. A couple of the sketches I turned on their sides, and one I reversed.... but that's the whole point of a sketch isn't it? See it and interpret it your own way... so here you go, a few pages from my Stampede 2010 scrapbook :-)
