Vintage Christmas

Hello all, ok it's a little early to do Christmas pages, but I don't have my Halloween pictures yet! lol so I thot I would play with this pretty line from My Mind's Eye, Vintage Christmas.
If you can see the top right corner, there is a subtle star there. I got a new mask and I wanted to test it, I sprayed a dark brown over the image, just to give the corners a hint of  something special.

This was the template, script star. I love it!

Closer shot of the star.

I fussy cut both corners of the paper, and slipped a mat under it, the opposite corner is Santa. then I used Tim's tattered poinsettia die and added a flower. I also used the Deer die also.

layers of matting, and it is already for pictures.... how many more shopping days??

Challenge PPSC #5

Hello all, here is my version of the sketch on the Scrapbooker's Paradise challenge.

I used the new Prima line.... but lol I forget the name and I used the title strip to make the zig zag!

Prima flowers, I brushed Victorian Velvet over them, and changed the color
of the pearl center using a copic marker.

I fussy cut around the flower and feather, and also in the top left corner also. Then I slipped the cut out center under the fussy cut image. Hop over to Scrapbooker's Paradise to play along!

Have a Happy Scrappy Day!

Enchanted Fairies

Hello all. It's time to do a page that I can put a picture of my kitty on. I think when he sleeps he dreams of chasing fairies and butterflies, so here he is.

Kaiser has had the best paper lines lately. They are just beautiful, and here is another one from them. The paper was so gorgeous all by itself, so I didn't cover much of it up. The image is so light and airy, so I chose to accent with some flowers made out of vellum. There are 3 different kinds of patterns on the flowers. They turned out so pretty, and the cheery lynn die even embossed the outlines of the petals! I also used a cut out of vellum behind the butterfly, so it is shimmery inside and out.

I added a small rhinestone to the flower center, very simple, not distracting.

another beautiful die from Cheery Lynn, the flourish which I love putting behind butterflies, as their " swoosh"
